NCMTA Piano Festival Workshop is for for Students and Teachers

2023-25 PIANO FESTIVAL WORKSHOP – ATTENTION PIANO TEACHERS and their students!

Registered participants for the NCMTA 2023-25 Piano Festival Workshop enter here. Our workshops are held virtually, via our NCMTA Vimeo channel! You are required to have the workshop password to participate; please check your email for the password after registration.

WHY WORKSHOP?

The workshop is an opportunity for you and your students to hear Festival works performed and discussed by experienced teacher/performers. Utilizing this resource is an excellent opportunity to experience a broad range of select repertoire, even if you have no students participating in the festival! Teachers who will be judging are also highly encouraged to register.

With colleague Eden Brown, he recently published the complete keyboard works of Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges with Music by Black Composers

Victoria Fisher Faw, NCTM

Victoria Fischer Faw presents the 2023-35 Senior A repertoire

VICTORIA FISCHER FAW, NCTM, DMA, Professor Emerita at Elon University, is a pianist, teacher, and scholar whose musical passions include the full range of piano solo and collaborative repertoire, teaching young teachers to teach piano, and mentoring undergraduate musical research.

Frank Pittman

Frank Pittman presents the 2023-25 Senior B repertoire

Dr. Frank Pittman, NCTM is the owner and founder of the Piano Academy of North Carolina, LLC. In his 40 years of teaching experience, his students have participated in numerous national and international music festivals and performance competitions. Many former students are currently career musicians and music educators.
