NCMTA PERFORMANCE FESTIVALS are for PIANO, VOICE and CONCERT INSTRUMENTS.

Festivals are held annually between February and May in two phases – District and State. STATE LEVEL is OPEN NOW. Learn more.

Performance Festival Information

  • Our NCMTA Performance Festivals are held in the early part of each year in two phases – District and State. See below for dates and locations.
  • Students eligible to participate in the State Festival are those who earned Highest Honors at District. 
  • REGISTRATION for 2025 STATE performance festivals is open, now through midnight April 5th, 2025.
  • Students earning Highest Honors at both State and District levels are eligible to perform in the Honors Recitals at conference.
