Piano Duet Performance Festival

 NEW in 2021!

Concert Instrument Performance Festival

NCMTA continues to seek new ways to increase our membership and our service to North Carolina musicians of all ages. The new Concert Instruments division of the NCMTA Performance Festival provides a new opportunity for wind and string players to perform for the state's top adjudicators. The inaugural festival will take place this fall and will culminate with an invitation to outstanding participants to perform at the October 2021 NCMTA conference at Eastern Carolina University.

Participants will register for either the junior or senior level based on their two repertoire selections and submit recordings online. New to the Performance Festival, there is also a collegiate level for musicians enrolled at North Carolina colleges and universities. Registration opens August 1st and closes August 31st. The cost is $25. The deadline for video submissions is September 20th.

Mark your calendars! Information on how to register is forthcoming. Meanwhile, please familiarize yourself with the Regulations and  Assessment Standards, found to the left of this page.

Our first-ever event will take place using a virtual format. Check back for details.
