September 13, 3:00 pm is the deadline for electronically submitting the application for the MTNA Composition Competition. NEW THIS YEAR: Computer generated scores and MIDI files will be required.
Categories are by age as of January 1 of current year:
Elementary: Ages 5-10
Junior: Ages 11-14
Senior: Ages 15-18
Young Artist: Ages 19-26
NOTE: The MTNA Composition Competition application must be submitted electronically. Guidelines, application, and further information about this competition can be found at www.mtna.org.
